Highlights 2023

Event Lead – EmpowerHER:
Spearheaded EmpowerHER, an event aimed at inspiring and empowering young women in the tech industry. Through insightful talks, interactive workshops, and tech-themed games, participants were equipped with the confidence and skills to excel in the evolving tech landscape. The event prepared attendees for upcoming tech events like ITMEET and KUHackfest, fostering self-expression, learning, and engagement.
Japanese Language
Successfully passed the N5 exams in Japanese language proficiency. Fascinated by the intricate language and rich culture of Japan, I embarked on a journey to learn Japanese. Immersing myself in the language, I explored various aspects of Japanese culture, including the vibrant Bon Odori folk dance, which deepened my appreciation for the country’s traditions. As I delved deeper into my studies, I found particular joy in mastering Kanji characters, uncovering the stories and meanings behind each stroke.

Implemented an incentivization system to reward civic engagement, promoting activities like afforestation, community service, and empathy-driven initiatives. Additionally, designed an intuitive home page for users, featuring personalized dashboards, task lists, community updates, and social interactions.
LineFollowing Robot Project
Pursued a passion for electrical engineering by building a LineFollowing Robot, showcasing enthusiasm for exploring the field of IoT (Internet of Things) in the future. This project reflects a dedication to hands-on learning and experimentation in emerging technologies.

IDEATHON WINNERS
Food security is a global concern with significant implications for nations, social harmony, and long-term economic progress. Nepal, like many countries, faces challenges related to climate change, soil degradation, water scarcity, population growth, and limited land resources, which threaten its ability to produce sufficient food. This idea aims to address these challenges by developing a crop yield prediction model to enhance agricultural planning in rural areas of Nepal.
Rafting in Bhotekoshi
Participating in an exhilarating adventure, I ventured for a second time to the Bhotekoshi River for an unforgettable rafting experience. This thrilling excursion came after a hiatus of three years since completing grade twelve. The rush of navigating the rapids and feeling the pulse of the river electrified my senses, reaffirming my love for water sports. As someone who has recently embraced a passion for aquatic activities, this rafting trip was not only a thrilling escapade but also a reaffirmation of my adventurous spirit and appreciation for the beauty of nature’s challenges.

My first tapari (Leaves bowl)
I learned the art of crafting a tapari from my grandmother. This traditional leaf bowl, integral to Hindu ceremonies and occasions, carries with it a sense of cultural heritage and familial connection. With patient guidance and cherished memories shared by my grandmother, I carefully molded and shaped the leaves, imbuing each fold and crease with a profound sense of reverence and tradition.
Here's what my colleagues have to say

Priyanshu is a really sharp and courageous girl. Works really hard and fights for what she believes in, no matter the cost. She’s a specially skilled multi-talented girl – I’ve seen her great documentation skills, her athleticism in sports, she dances great, and furthermore, her involvement in different tech communities in such an early stage of university fascinates me. I’m amazed at how she balances out everything and is pretty capable in each.

I had the pleasure of working with Priyanshu a few months ago on some articles and research papers, and from then till now she never fails to amaze me. She is an expressive person with amazing writing skills and great leadership qualities. Her dedication and sincerity toward the things she is passionate about are commendable.

The first time I got to work with Priyanshu was when she joined the editorial team of IT Express, she was a freshman then. She worked like a perfectionist with a deadline and never disappointed the team. Priyanshu is cheerful, hard-working, diligent, and an excellent team player. She strikes a remarkable balance between her extracurricular interests and academics.
