
The empowerHER event on November 25th, 2023, at NTIC Building, Kathmandu University, witnessed nearly 80 participants, including key note speakers Guna Kesari Pradhan, Roja Kiran Basukala, Agma Malakar, Sarila Ngakhusi, Praynita Karki, and guest Rajani Chulyadyo. The event featured an inaugural address by Rajani Chulyadyo, followed by an inspiring Reflection Session where participants shared their #iamremarkable stories. Agma Malakar’s session, “Women in Tech for and within the Government,” challenged perceptions about government work, fostering insightful discussions.
The day continued with a networking lunch and a game session by the Hult Prize team, blending fun and knowledge about the 17 SDGs. The event concluded with a heartfelt closing speech, expressing gratitude to participants, speakers, and the dedicated organizing committee.
EmpowerHER 2023 successfully achieved its objectives, creating a platform for empowerment, dialogue, and challenging societal norms. It stands as a testament to collaboration and the collective pursuit of positive change.

Highlights of the event

The EmpowerHER event, held on November 25th, 2023, at the NTIC Building, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel 28-kilo, was a resounding success with a robust participation of nearly 70 attendees, including participants, organizers, volunteers, and esteemed speakers. The event, orchestrated under the capable supervision of Rajani Chulyadyo and Amrit Sir, who also doubled as guest speakers, commenced with the inaugural address by Rajani Chulyadyo. Opening speeches set the tone for a day centered around empowerment, collaboration, and reflection

The Hult Prize team curated an engaging game encompassing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The game was both entertaining and enlightening, enhancing participants’ understanding of the SDGs.
